This bloomed the best in late spring. Here are the last of the blooms.

Average, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers part shade and moist, sandy or clay soils. Requires excellent drainage.

I only have one plant out of the two I had planted. I haven't found any self seeders and I've yet to catch the seeds. I just haven't watched for them often enough.
