Purchased two at Home Depot. Purchase price was $39.99 each.

- Fertilize with all-purpose fertilizer in early spring and again in late summer.
- Do not allow to dry out for the first year. Mulch to retain moisture.
- Evergreen shrub. Holds leaf color through winter.
- Great for hedge or foundation use.
- Contrasts well with Spirea, Weigela, Viburnum, Azaleas and Rhododendrons.

I planted one on each side of, the end of, my driveway. I planted them around the end of May, maybe early June 2006. If you look to the top right corner of mulch you may be able to make out the stick that is a very small rhododendron mucronulatum.

This one is planted in front of my more substantial korean rhododendron. I thought it would distract from the rhody's bare branches in winter. I actually have a korean rhododendron planted in the same proximity to the other boxwood (previous picture). However, it isn't much more than a stick, so it is hard to see.
