This poor plant never grew beyond its planted soil. I had planted it three years ago and puzzled why it seemed to be a bonsai specimen ... Last week I moved it, broke up the soil around the root ball, opened up the roots, and stuck it in a mix of local soil and augmented soil. I'd bet it's no longer a bonsai after this year. :)
