Planted six same year as crabapple went in. Doing well except for center area where two plants have continually died from root rot. Retaining wall likely drains right at this spot. Considering planting a replacement in a sunken container to protect the roots.

Sprayed the heck out of all of them with insecticidal soap.

"Watered" with peroxide/water solution.

Watered ones towards front with peroxide/water blend since there was so much rain late last week. Used chammomile (Tension Tamer) tea on other two.

Pulled out two worst. It's definitely root rot. Still have one in a pot I purchased. Not sure where to move these. Sunny border? (getting crowded, though). And two remaining need to be divided. Or could be.
