When it comes to roses I seem to add a new cultivar each year. And much like irises and daylilies a gardener can never get too many. This rose has grown here at least five years, and is exceptionally hardy. Its first flush of blooms are in very thick clusters. The pink color and flower shape make it an exceptional bloom. It is much the same size and shape as the red Groodendorst.

Shown here is the full shrub from a distance. I have it planted at the back of a large perennial bed behind daylilies and other plants.
