I bought this English rose at least 9-10 years ago. I wanted something showy along the drive leading into the garage, so among other hardy perennials this shrub was a good choice. It has grown and bloomed beautifully since. The blooms open with a darker pink at first, then a lighter shade when fully opened. It gets almost full sun throughout the day, except for some intermittent shade depending on the location of the sun. It is reasonably hardy, and grows and blooms well.
