I have grown this several years, but am just now getting around to taking some pictures. It is an unusual color somewhere between a rose shade and dark pink with "brick" overtones thrown in. The eyezone is a deeper shade of maroon/burgundy/oxblood/red, and is quite distinct. It is a terrific grower and blooms fairly early and long. Hybridized by Williamson 1981.

After deleting two previous entries I'm still doubting whether the color in this one is right. It seems too intense compared to seeing it in the garden. For now I'll let it slide, but I'm not satisfied.

This one seems better, but pollen is scattered everywhere.
