Two jays were divebombing my pekingese, so I went to investigate. Found a pair of babies in a weigelia bush, and ran to get the camera! A rest stop while traveling through. They perch on the branches for much longer periods of time than most other species. They are my sunshine on cloudy days. My Bottlebrush Tree, Callistemon rigidus, is a magnet for hummingbirds.
