What child has not held a sunny yellow buttercup under their chin to test their fondness for butter? This unbreakable art pottery is made of my handmade paper with actual buttercups in the pulp and used as embellishment. Several coats of protective finish allow for cleaning witha damp cloth.

Mute Poem- In China, a decorative stone is regarded as a mute poem. Created with my handmade paper, this nature art vessel is my poem to nature herself. Flecks of bark from the sumac bush are included with the recycled pulp. It is punctuated with a natural twig to create a dramatic line.

"Bosom Buddies" - Circle of Hope crinoline doily. I made these for members of our local breast cancer chapter. The members were so enchanted with them, they convinced me to sell a few and I donate part of the proceeds to our local BC office.

The pot for this little gnome's domain was created using hardware cloth painted with a specialty cement.
The home front was cast in cement using a latex mold of an original clay art piece. The little gnome was purchased and the gnome home was designed for him.

I call this "Bird on a Hat" as the bird feeder the cement origami crane is sitting on looks like a top hat! The cement origami crane and the "hat" were created by folding hardware cloth and then painting it with a specialty cement. The post that it sits on is an agave american bloom stalk.

This is my first try at learning to do surface embroidery. It's not as good as digging in the dirt, but it's a good way to enjoy the beauty of plants in yucky weather!

These Birds visit My Studio daily.

Although this Painting is finished.
I decided to Photograph it for this “Country Fair Competition” before framing.
I only hope all the peripherals don't go against my entry.
I can take a close-up if required.
