This is a Zebra cake I made for my cousin's baby shower. I carefully layered Devil's food cake and a French Vanilla cake to create the stripes on the inside. I then used old fashioned vanilla and chocolate buttercream to decorate the outside stripes. This was the best tasting cake I have ever made.
I made this for my cousins' birthday party. It was just a simple white cake recipe that I made into one orange layer and one blue layer. I think it turned out really well as there were no leftovers.
Candied Pansies and Violas with candied Chocolate Mint leaves, all from my garden, decorate this wedding reception cake I made. By the way.. I highly recommend candied Chocolate Mint! Yum!
