Isle of Dreams -
We always dreamed of our own private island, so we created one!
This is the fountain, shells, lobster pot, ship's wheel and island tropicals.

I love this area in a friend's yard. The garden statuary of a little girl and boy totally engrossed in their reading seems to set just the right tone for the area. I always want to join them, sit down on that bench and get lost in a good book of my own.

A friend painted this beautiful dragonfly for me. It was originally a garden stake, but I wanted to give it place of more prominence where everyone could enjoy it as much as I do. It seems to be just perfect right here.

I always wanted a arbor swing with roses climbing up it. My father, age 80 built this arbor swing for my birthday 2 years ago and we planted Dream Weaver Pink Climbing roses on either side of the swing. This year the swing looked so pretty in full bloom I had to take a picture of it. Thanks Dad!

A 4' x 6' mosaic leading into the back yard. It took the entire winter to make it and I noticed in spring that my usual winter mail order plant purchases were greatly decreased. I should think of another to make this winter :)
