I love pine trees. I love the variations in color, texture, and scent. There is an aura about a Pine that no other tree possesses. She is always an "elegant lady".

I was out working in my school's nursery and came across this fallen leaf and petal. Both of the plants are varieties in development, the leaf is a variegated fruitless mulberry and the petal is from a "peppermint striped" camellia. I enjoy the contrast of colors and shapes in this photograph.
