3 egg yolk Beat well with a rotary beater
Beat in
1 2/3 cups of fresh Buttermilk (no substitute)
1 tsp of soda
Sift together and beat in
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
Beat in
3 tbsp of softened butter ( not margarine)
Gently fold in
3 egg whites , stiffly beaten
Instructions:
Bake on hot griddle. Fresh fruit (blueberries, peaches, bananas, etc.) or nuts may be added to pancakes on the griddle just before flipping for best results. Serve immediately hot off the grill to maintain their fluffy texture and flavor
