Old Fashioned Homemade Cough Syrup

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Honey
2/3 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Butter
Dash Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Alum

Instructions:

Heat to a boiling point. Take one teaspoon as needed for cough or hoarseness. May be taken cold but works better and is more effective if taken hot or warm..

Extra Notes:

NOTE: do not give to children. This is only a "homemade alternative".
