Easy Orange Marmalade

4 large oranges
3 lemons
12 c. sugar
6 c. water

Slice oranges and lemons paper thin, peel and all, and place in large kettle. Add 6 cups water and let stand at room temperature overnight. Second day: Cook mixture until tender; about 30 minutes. Third day: Add 2 cups sugar for each pint of fruit and juice. Cook to jelly stage, about 10 minutes. Pour into jelly jars and seal.
