
Mary Lee’s Peach Cake

2 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
1 large can peaches (drained and mashed)
Icing
1 stick butter
½ cup evaporated milk
¼ cup chopped walnuts
1 can coconut
1-cup sugar
1-teaspoon vanilla

Combine the flour, sugar, soda and eggs. Then stir in the peaches. Pour batter in cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.
Icing- Mix butter, sugar and milk; boil until thick (about 2 minutes) remove from heat and add coconut, nuts and vanilla. Spread on hot cake.
