Oven Fried Chicken With Lemon Sauce

1/2 stick butter
3 Chicken breasts, split
salt, pepper, paprika to taste

Lemon Sauce:

2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/4 c, salad oil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt and black pepper
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. thyme
Mix all for sauce.

Melt butter in shallow baking dish at 400 degrees. Flour chicken; turn in butter. Place skin side down, if skin is desired. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour over Lemon Sauce; sprinkle lightly with seasonings. Bake for 30 minutes longer. Remove chicken; pour off excess fat. Serve excess sauce in gravy boat.
