Alot of times I will make the meatballs and let them cool on a clean baking sheet. Once cool,I will place baking sheet in the freezer until meatballs are frozen slightly.|
Remove from freezer and place meatballs in zip-lock bags and stick back in the freezer.
By doing it this way; the meatballs will not stick together and you can take out as many as you want when ready to use.
For my husband and myself; I usually put about 20 per bag, and that is enough and then some for a meal for us. You can also use meatballs to put in your spagetti sauce for spagetti and meatballs.
