Dave's Garden Cookbook: Terriyaki

The 2001 Dave's Garden Cookbook

3 lbs. top sirloin
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Freeze meat for about 1 hour; slice very thinly across grain. Combine remaining ingredients. Marinate meat in sauce for 1 hour. Drain meat; place on sticks or skewers. Place on broiler rack. Broil 4 inches from broiling unit for 7 minutes .
Turn and broil other side. Serve immediately. Serves 6-8.

  Extra Notes  
Broiling time will vary according to thickness of slices.
