Meringue ( For an 8" Pie )

  Ingredients  
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 Tbsp. sugar

  Instructions  
Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar; beating until stiff. Spread over filling, sealing to edge. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.
