Citrus Simmered Steak

  Ingredients  
Power Level High>Low
Cooking Time: 1 hr.
Yield: 6-8 servings

2 - 2 1/2 lbs boneless chuck steak, 2" thick
1/2 c. oange juice
2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. grated orange peel
4 oz. can sliced musrooms, drained
1 Orange, sliced
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

  Instructions  
In 3 qt casserole dish, combine steak, juice, barbecue sauce, onion, and orange peel. Heat, covered, 5 minutes on HIGH.

Continue cooking on Level 3, LOW and additionak 50 minutes until steak is tender, turning steak over once. Remove to serving platter, let stand, covered, 10 minutes.

Meanwhile into casserole, stir in mushrooms, orange, and cornstarch blended with water. Heat 2 - 3 minutes on HIGH until sauce is thickened; serve over steak.
