1 cup frozen fruit, (berries, bananas, peaches, mangos, and apricots are best)
2 cups acidophilus milk
1 TBS. granulated lecithin
1 TBS. nutritional yeast
1 tsp. calcium powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup non-instant powdered milk
1 TBS. Canola oil (Optional)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
4 pkgs. sweet 'n' lo or Equal if necessary (not in original recipe)
Blend liquids first, then the frozen fruit, yogurt, and solids last.
This is a very tasty milkshake and you can get kids and teens to drink this in lieu of breakfast.This recipe used to have 2 raw eggs in it, but everyone is too cautious about salmonella nowadays to do that. This recipe is definitely best while still frozen.
