6 Pounds Cukes
4 medium onions
4 C sugar
4 C cider vinegar
1/2 C salt
1 t celery salt
1 t mustard seed
1 1/2 t ground turmeric
Instructions
Slice cukes 1/4" thick, slice onions 1/8" thick. Place both in a large nonmetalic bowl. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cukes and onions. Stir well for 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours before serving.
Store in refrigerator up to 3 months, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 Qts.
