Dave's Garden Cookbook: Vegetable Salad

The 2001 Dave's Garden Cookbook

Vegetable Salad

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup salad oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon Water

Bring to boil and cool. When cool, pour over the following:
1 Can LeSeur Peas
1 can Shoe-Peg Corn
1 can french style green beans (chopped)
1 small jar pimento (finely chopped)
1 cup celery (finely chopped)
1 cup green pepper (finely chopped)

Let sit overnight.

Serves 16
Will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
