Put prepared bread into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with raisins. Set aside.|
Pour milk into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High (100%) for 3-4 minutes or until steaming hot.
Mix together eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
Stir a little of the hot milk into the into the egg mixture, then stir the egg mixture into remaining hot milk.
Pour over bread and raisins, pressing bread down a bit to absorb the liquid.
Cover with waxed paper and allow to rest 10 minutes.
Mix together 2 Tbsp. brown sugar and ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the bread pudding. Cover.
Microwave on Low (30%) for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Let stand, uncovered until center is set. Serve warm or cool.
