Fry onions in Crisco until yellow, remove onion and save for later. Roll steak pieces in flour, salt, and pepper. Sear in Crisco until brown. Add boiling water, worchestershire sauce, and whatever flour was left over. Cover and simmer until meat is done, about 1 hour. Add potatoes and cook 10 minutes longer. Put meat mixture in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and put onions on top. Cover with unbaked pastry; sealing the edges. Prick top with fork. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
