Far East Meatballs with Oriental Sauce

3 slices of white bread (crusts removed)
1/2 C. water
1 egg
2 tbsp. Horseradish
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. chopped water chestnuts
1 lb. ground chuck
3/4 C. orange marmalade
1 clove garlic (minced)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. water
1/2 C. peanut butter
2 tbsp. peanut oil
1/4 C. flour

Combine all ingredients, except flour and peanut oil, and mix lightly. Form into 24 meatballs. Set an electric skillet at 400 degrees, and add peanut oil. Roll meatballs in flour and brown on all sides in skillet. Remove to platter and keep warm. Reduce heat to 375 degrees, and drain off excess fat from skillet. Add remaining ingredients for the oriental sauce to skillet. Stir for about 2 minutes to combine ingredients whie mixture bubbles. Spoon over meatballs. Serves 4.
