1 c. oysters
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. black pepper
1/4 lb. butter
3 egg yolks
1 pt. half & half
3 Tbsp. flour
Instructions
Separate the oysters from the liquid; bring the liquid to a boil. Add batter of salt, pepper, butter, and flour, and stir all the time. When it returns to a boil, add the well beaten egg yolks, then the half & half, and when it reaches a boil again, add the oysters. Stirring constantly to prevent curdling, heat through and serve immediately.
