The 2001 Dave's Garden Cookbook

Stuffed Grilled Steak

By windsurffer

Category: Beef

1 Porterhouse Steak ( 1 1/2 thick)
Clove of fresh Garlic
Onion (small)
Dry all purpose seasoning

Lay the steak on a cutting board and slice through the middle( making a pocket)
Season inside the pocket with the all purpose seasoning.
Slice the Garlic, Onion and mushrooms (thin) and put inside.
Hold the steak together with wooden skewers or tooth picks.
Season both side of the steak and put on the grill, cook until done adding BBQ sauce to both sides.
Remove the skewers/tooth picks and serve.

  Extra Notes
If using wooden skewers soak them in water for about half hour, this will keep the wood from burning when grilling.
This recipe can also be done in your oven or even fried on top of the stove with a lid covered skillet.
