Spicy Sausage and Bean Soup

1 pound hot Italian Sausage
1 large yellow onion, coarsely chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
4 cans Great Northern Beans
12 ounces chicken stock
2 cans (15.5oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 teaspoons basil
fresh ground pepper, to taste

(1) Remove and discard sausage casing and cut sausage in half, lengthwise. Cut into small bitesize pieces.
(2) Cook sausage, onions and garlic until there is no pink left in the sausage. Add all the other ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until flavors are blended

This is a quick recipe. I can have this on the table in just over an hour.
