Refrigerator Cole Slaw

  Ingredients  
Salad:
8 cups shredded cabbage
1 large onion, grated
3 large carrots, grated
1 cup sugar

Dressing:
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
2/33 cup salad oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
sal to tast

  Instructions  
Combine the 4 salad ingredients. Combine the dressing ingredients and heat to a boil. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage, stir, and let stand 3 hrs. in refrigerator. This will keep for a month in the rerigerator.

  Extra Notes  
I use a Salad Shooter exclusively to grate and chop veggies. Less time consuming and so much easier on arthritic hands!
