Cherry Pie Supreme

1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
1 can cherry pie filling
4 3oz. pkgs. soft cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spread half o cherry pie filling in pie shell. Set rest aside. Bake 15 minutes or until crust is golden; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Meanwhile,
in a small bowl, with electric mixer, beat cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over hot cherry pie filling; bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack. To serve: Spoon sour cream around edge of pie, fill center with remaining pie filling. Makes 8 servings.
