This park has almost 1,000 acres for biking, hiking, or horseback riding. There is a 9 mile perimeter trail which is very popular with mountian bikers. I ride my horse here due to the many open fields and grassy stretches for galloping. There are a lot of hawks (probably due to the open fields), as well as wild turkeys, foxes, deer, etc. There is also a historic mansion in the park (Mt. Airy) which is very pretty to walk around. The only people I have ever come across are a few hikers, mountain bikers, and the local dog training club which uses the park. It's the best kept secret in the area!
