Bob cannot figure out why the mailman has started dumping his mail on the walkway when the mail box is still where it always was just 15' away

Image

Bob excitedly rips open his brand gnu garden tool he ordered on line from Africa

Image

Bob shows off his gnu lawn mower

Image

Bob PI (Plant Identifier)- thoroughly investigates plants for a fee and identifies them.  'Hmmm... not a palm...

Image

Bob PI (plant investigator)- looks carefully for clues as to what might be eating this plant

Image

Bob is a bit disappointed at the decidedly small volumes of maple syrup he's getting from the cutting down of his girl friend's prize Japanese Maple collection

Image

Bob becomes 'collateral damage' as his new Venus Fly Trap goes for prey

With virtually no room left to plant palms anymore, Bob MAKES room

Image

Bob stumbles across and old recipe and realizes he has a use for all that old fruit he had tossed in the trash a few days ago- he can't wait until his girl friend tries his Fruit Compost

Image

Bob loves to just stare at his favorite plants... but this time he stands and stares so long oxalis has taken over and he develops a severe case of weeds.

Image

On Memorial Day, Bob visits his old plant's graves for a prayer, a moment of silence... and steals a bucket of compost at the same time

Image

Now that Bob's palms are starting to grow as tall as the house, he prepares for next winter should Santa and his potential palm-eating reindeer think about landing on his roof

Image

Bob digs in the soil so much he has developed a case of earthworms

Image

With space in such short supply, Bob learns how many pots can really be placed along a single wall

Image

Disappointed Bob loses his Venus Fly Trap despite trying hard to recreate the Venus atmosphere with intense heat and a bottle of ammonia

Image

Bob enjoys Palm Reading as a past time- this one is a long two parter with a few foot notes

Image

Somehow doing the plumbing in the back yard didn't seem like it should be so complicated

Image

Always living vicariously through his plants, Bob wilts along with them on a hot summer day

Image

Bob is nauseous, dizzy and can actually feel his liver enzymes shooting up while making up his latest home made batch of bug killer- but at least his lice problem is under control

Image

Bob gets a new Picture Plant... wasn't quite what he expected somehow

Image

Bob always feels like a grave robber when he returns to his compost pile made from his past failures... so he at least dresses the part

Image

Every once in a while Bob enjoys going through old family albums of baby pictures

Image

As time goes on and his failures pile up, Bob can no longer provide the respect and care he gave his first dead plants.. now it's a huge task just to keep up with the mass burials
