Yes, there is a time to plant. Shhh...there is a time to be still. Enjoy your garden; be captivated by its beauty instead of by its work. Relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Always, always. Never ending. Something more to do.
But the roses do not wait; they pass from bud to bloom and too soon...petals dropping.

While the garden bench is empty; calling out your name.

Shhhhh...hush...Listen to the birds in your garden. Hear the crickets as they sing, the water bubbles in the spring. And...simply for a moment...enjoy the beauty of your garden...shhhh...hush...and rest.

About April Campbell
Writer, Speaker, Accountant, Gardener, Teacher, Sign Language Interpreter, Friend, Inactive Real Estate Agent. I love plants but don't grow as many as I wish. The garden in my head is better than the one in my yard. However, I plant at least one tree every year and have left every home with a little more green than it had before. I hope you enjoy reading these articles as much as I enjoy writing them.
