We see only about one or two of these butterflies each year. However, on March 27 and again on March 28, 2010 we counted 15 individuals in two strips of land about 50 yards long at our ranch in San Isidro, TX. Numerous eggs and caterpillars were also found on a native mallow growing in that section of land.

Timer: 23.56 jiffies (0.23557806015015).
