These guys blend into this dried up grass so well . . . even when they move they are hard to follow with your eyes. Since they are about the same color as the weeds in the morning sun, this makes them some of the hardest to locate this time of year. I think these are very pretty with the sun shining on them early in the morning and evenings. They are numerous in my fields this summer and can be approached if you move slowly.
