Regular stray to south Texas. Adults perch with their wings closed. Topside (dorsal view) brownish in color with diagonaly glassy white to yellow markings. Smaller set of glassy marking near tip of forewing. Underside (ventral view) has variegated markings of brown and white with a prominent white mark near base of hindwings.
Larval host plant: Legume vines in the genus Nissolia.
