These beetles are here in great numbers. I keep leaves under my trees and shrubs in fall and winter, so I encourage their existence.
They have rescued me from the worst aphid attack ever, the ladybugs didn't stay, these bugs did!

The infestation was enormous, disgustingly so, and together with some manual squishing, the problem has been taken care of by these soldiers!
