I found the caterpillar on the black berries plant on beginning of September. I left it eat there for few days and then put it in a jar to show the kids the cocoon and (hopefully) the adult moth. After 5 days it started building the cocoon. After 7 days the moth came out. Kids were a bit disappointed: it was the wingless female...
