I watched this wasp over a period of 2 weeks it only took an hour to construct a pot and there are over 15 in the mud mass The wasp with a host appeared every day or so dependent on the weather either for mud or prey but it was pretty specific on which caterpillar it had, it also tidied up the site regularly with mud as other smaller parasitic wasp were trying to gain entry
