Size: 6 inches

It is found in China, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Myanmar, Russia, and Taiwan. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical dry forests. Also in open dry deciduous forests. Usually found in hills and on the sides of ridges.

One sighting in North America recorded from Attu, Alaska on May 25, 1998.
