Taken on 13th December 2007. They are territorial, covering a good distance to keep out other males. My garden near Lincoln, UK is home to them.
On 7th January 2008, a thoughtful moment while soaking up some sun on the fence. It is a very small bird and can be very friendly.
On 8th June 2008, a young moulting Robin in my greenhouse. A parent was there too, but not panicking as it trusted me.
Taken on 13th November 2007. It was taking a rest on a plant pot, I was only about 3 feet from it.
This one hopped up to my feet while I stood amongst shrubbery on 3rd Oct., it finally got a caterpillar from the grass. It made sure it was well dead before swallowing it.
On 17th November 2007, camouflage amongst red Holly berries.
On 17th November 2007, the Robin enjoyed our unusually sunny autumn as I did. This was a favourite lookout spot in my red-leaved Cherry tree.
On 23rd October 2007, a brief rest in the sun after feeding on a few bugs on the ground.
Taken on a very dull 11th October through my window. Probably 3 young birds, the two on the right (males?) blowing up their throats, I imagine to show their superiority.
