I finally found a great product to cover my ugly block walls from Calibamboo (online) They offer a black bamboo that is renewable and natural. The Bamboo is mounted to a 2X4 onto the block wall and provided nice contrast against the light DG. I also gave up on the fence post cactus and planted a Desert Museum Palo Verde
