Here\'s the cooking side where the barbie and a two-burner cast iron cooktop will be. As one can see by the many empty bags of mesquite charcoal, the grill is functioning without the countertop...lol. Priorities... The colorful Talavera tile mosaic was created by a DG pal Mary Kennedy (maggiemoo) while she was on vacation here at out ranch on the same day Pam created the fabulous mosaic on the other side. I think they both did very well for first-timers and they had me looking over their shoulders the whole time being annoying but cutting their tiles for them when they needed me to. The cabinet below is for storage of charcoal and for servicing the gas line for the cooktop. The tiny wires you see sticking out of the front of the unit closer to the left are for Peizo spark lighters to ignite the cooktop burners so I don\'t have matches in my hand while drinking and grilling. Pam is prudently cautious that way.....lol. As you can also see I\'ve got a bit of a thing for Calaveras as well.
