It took me awhile to come around to the beauty of aloes too, Kelly. And sadly now I have 5 tree aloes and many smaller ones. I hate how a plant I used to ignore slowly grabs my interest and then becomes a need. This picture really shows how bold the blooms can be! And a real focal point in the garden. Adds lots of vertical color!
