Like most green beans, this bean is very sensitive to the timing of your planting. I planted too early, and ran into a cold, wet week during germination. The three plants which survived soil maggots clung precariously to life and then suddenly took off when hot weather hit. Definitely play it safe with the timing.

From Bakker Brothers, who offer this description; "This variety is ideal for processing, freezing and the fresh market. The leaves are fairly big sized. The plant is approximately 35-40 cm high. The pods are long: 17 cm, round-oval in shape, 12 mm in diameter. The pod colour is medium green. Due to the slow seed development this variety can be picked over a long period. Resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus and Powdery Mildew. "
