Take a look at my pictures of these stunning plants. I had amazing success with the alleged dwarf salvia. Planted in full sun with adequate love, these dwarf measured in at 30+ inches in later summer; and they left seed and without removal and transfer of the seed they would have completely emcompassed the same plot again this year without me so much as planting one. Breathtaking color with the sun hits them; and hummingbirds as abundant as the wows these beauties received.

I love this plant's deep purple flowers - they look almost black. It provides great contrast to brightly colored flowers or foliage. It's also easy to care for and can withstand harsh conditions. Deadheading can shorten the time to the next flush of flowers.
