A good iris in so many ways. Nice branching, dark, breathtaking coloring and pattern, a good sturdy grower, and multiplies well too.

S. blackish cherry-magenta; F. white base washed and lined overall with magenta black, wide dark magenta-cherry band; beards purple.

Grows to 36 inches tall. Has done very well here!
