I purchased stem cuttings from "Country garden" in Milton Florida, were they have quite the selection of Brugmansia's. The cuttings where strong and quickly rooted in damp compost. They were killed to the ground earlier this year when we had 2 back to back nights of 21oF. They are planted in full sun, It is now the end of July and they have 4 major stalks the shortest of which is 7 feet and the tallest about 9 feet. During the growing season they get several applications of 'black kow' and fish emulsion they also have a drip irrigation line. I anticipate blooms will start to appear by next month. I would recommend this and other angels trumpets to other zone 8 and higher gardeners.
